Lisa K. Mannix, MD, is the Medical Director for Headache Associates, a private practice clinic specializing in the treatment of patients with chronic headache.

Dr. Mannix earned her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She then completed her internship and neurology residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation where she also served as chief resident and completed a Seymour Diamond Clinical fellowship in headache education.

Dr. Mannix is certified in Adult Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

She also has a Certificate of Added Qualifications from the National Board for Certification in Headache Management.

Dr. Mannix is an active member of several professional associations, including the American Headache Society and the National Headache Foundation, for which she serves on the board of directors. Dr. Mannix has numerous publications in the field of headache. She is the principle investigator for ClinExcel Research and has conducted clinical trials on acute treatment and prophylaxis of migraine in adults and adolescents. She lectures frequently to both professional and lay audiences.
